Description
The Back-Up Camera Kit is an important addition when upgrading an older G-wagen’s original Comand NAV-system or factory stereo to a more modern aftermarket head unit with a video monitor display.
The Camera Kit has a 100% factory look, and consists of the original OEM Mercedes-Benz camera housing, its body gasket with original Torx mounting screws and an aftermarket digital color camera.
The camera is fitted into the housing – ready to install as a complete unit. The kit includes all the wiring and cables necessary for your installation, a detailed install manual is included as well.
The installation requires some drilling through the rear door panel and some precise soldering skills – if uncomfortable with these tasks, please use a professional installer!
This camera kit is vehicle specifically made for the Mercedes-Benz W460, W461 & W463 Geländewagen.
The Mercedes-Benz camera housing is finished in gray primer and will need to be painted to match the vehicle if so desired.
